Description

Lovely spacious and bright living in the popular Eastern Docklands, that's possible! This large 3-room apartment of 110 m2 is located in the beautiful Rietland Park and has its own parking space. The unobstructed view from the living room and both bedrooms extends over the monumental Lloyd hotel. Living at the Rietland Park is living a stone's throw from the center, yet very quiet and with lots of greenery in the immediate vicinity.

Structure and layout:
The apartment is part of a silver-colored group of four residential towers, designed by architect Ton Venhoeven and whose name, Zilvervloot, refers to the harbor that once stood here. In the immediate vicinity there are numerous buildings that remind of the activity that prevailed here at the beginning of the last century.

The apartment is reached via the communal entrance on the ground floor. Here we find an elevator and staircase, access to the storage room, parking garage and bicycle shed (in the basement). The apartment is located on the second floor. The entrance with hallway and meter cupboard gives access to the bright and very spacious (56 m2) living room with open kitchen. The kitchen has a cooking island with solid beech wood top and various built-in appliances (induction hob, dishwasher and large combination microwave / oven).

The toilet room is equipped with a bidet. The washing machine and dryer are also located there. The bathroom has a whirlpool bath (Villeroy & Boch) and beautiful marble tiles on the floor and on the wall. The two bedrooms have spacious dimensions: 6.0 mx 2.40 m, resp. 6.0 x 3.0 m. As in the living room, there is an unobstructed view of the early 20th century buildings of the Eastern Docklands, including the characteristic Lloyd hotel, KHL and art café "De Cantine".

Location and surroundings:
Directly across the street, a two-minute walk away, is Brazil, a former coffee and cocoa shed (1915) of the then Koninklijke Hollandsche Lloyd, now converted into a shopping center. Here you will find, among others, AH, Jumbo, Blokker, Bruna, butcher, bakery, a health food store and the pharmacy. On the other side of the railway is the Czaar Peterstraat, recently voted the nicest shopping street in the Netherlands. You will also find several schools in the immediate vicinity.

The Lloyd hotel, Club Panama, KHL coffee house and art café "De Cantine" are just a few of the many entertainment options that are literally around the corner. From your own parking space in the basement, you can drive to the A10 in 10 minutes via the Piet Hein tunnel. Tram 10 and 26 stop almost in front of the door and take you to CS, Leidseplein or Westerpark. Buses 48 and 65 also stop nearby (van Eesterenlaan). The center of Amsterdam is 10 minutes by bike.
